Lincoln Residents Association formed in the autumn of 2023 after Lincoln City Council chose to ignore a petition with 920 names and addresses. The question many residents then asked was, “How can we get a council to listen to us?”.
We have teamed up with the National Residents Association.
This is helping us to learn more about helping communities to reach out to people who have been surviving as individuals.
By working together we can thrive.
We are not for profit. We provide venues and hot drinks for free. We do our very best to listen to concerns and constantly think about how we can best help communities in Lincoln City.
If you would like to help there’s plenty we can be doing together…
- setting up tables
- making drinks
- washing up
- delivering leaflets
- proof reading
- web design (we are amateurs who could benefit from professional help with this!)
- meeting with councillors to explain concerns (often for those unable to speak for themselves)
- helping lonely people to feel/be less lonely
